Will your crew protect my furniture and floors?
AllPro Painters can move any furniture that the homeowner cannot. We ask that the homeowner remove pictures and artwork and move and store away any sentimental, fragile, and valuable items prior to our arrival. Once we're in, pieces are shifted to the center of the room and covered with clean drop cloths. Floors are protected with canvas runners on hardwood and tile, and secured plastic sheeting on carpet. Everything goes back exactly where it was when we're done.
Do I need to be home during the painting?
You don't need to be home the entire time. Many of our clients give us a key or garage code and go about their day. We communicate via text or phone throughout the project, and always lock up when we leave. We do ask that you're available for the initial color walkthrough and the final inspection.
What if I don't like the color once it's on the wall?
We always recommend testing colors with large samples on a posterboard (about 10"x10", multiple coats) before we commit. Move it around the room at different times of day so you can see how the light shifts the color. The final pick stays with you. It's personal, and we don't want to push you into a shade you'll regret. In the rare case you're still not happy after application, we'll work with you to make it right. That's part of our standard process.
We're pet-friendly and used to working around dogs, cats, and everything in between. We use low-VOC paints that are safer for indoor air quality. We recommend keeping pets out of active work areas for their safety and to prevent paw prints on wet surfaces. Most families keep pets in a separate room or the yard during painting hours.
How long does interior painting take?
Most single-room projects take 1-2 days. A full interior (3-4 bedrooms, living areas, and hallways) typically takes 4-7 days depending on scope and prep work. The desert's low humidity is actually an advantage. Paint dries faster here than almost anywhere in the country. We'll give you a detailed timeline during your free estimate.
What type of paint do you use?
We use premium paints from Sherwin-Williams and Dunn-Edwards exclusively. These are premium-grade product lines, for high durability, washability, and adhesion. We recommend the right sheen and product line based on the room's function: flat for ceilings, eggshell or satin for walls, semi-gloss for trim and high-traffic areas.
Do you paint ceilings, trim, and baseboards?
Absolutely. We paint ceilings, crown molding, baseboards, door frames, window casings, and any other trim work. Many homeowners are surprised how much fresh trim and ceiling paint transforms a room. Often more than the walls themselves. We'll include all of it in your estimate so you can see the cost of each element.
What's included in the free estimate?
Everything. We visit your home, assess each room, discuss your color preferences, measure all surfaces, and identify any prep work needed. You'll receive a detailed, line-item estimate with transparent pricing. No hidden fees, no surprises. There's zero obligation, and we respond within 2 hours of your request.
